Prestigious recognition for an interdisciplinary project in social psychology and linguistics
Ann Weatherall, a professor at Victoria University in Wellington, and currently visiting scholar in our department, has just received generous funding of NZ$850,000 from the prestigious Marsden Fund, Royal Society of New Zealand, for the project "Using talk and the body to prevent gender-based violence" for which she is the Principal Investigator.
Lorenza Mondada (Professor for French and General lingusitics, University of Basel) is contributing as Associate Investigator.
The project was conceived during Prof. Weatherall's previous stay in Basel.
