At the Department of Languages and Literatures, the doctorate is possible in 15 different subjects. Preferably, the doctorate takes place within the framework of one of the two doctoral programs (Doctoral Program in Linguistics and Doctoral Program in Literary Studies).

Admission to the doctoral program is regulated by the university and is granted by the President's Office upon application by the faculty.
