The Department of Languages and Literatures of the University of Basel is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and home to German, English, French, Ibero-Romance, Italian, Nordic, Eastern European, and Slavic Studies. We offer BA, MA, and PhD degrees both in linguistics and in literature.
