The Department of Languages and Literatures is characterized by a wealth of research projects. Some are clearly located in one discipline, others have a decidedly interdisciplinary focus. In addition, the department also collaborates with other faculties and universities.
Since 2007, around 250 research projects are on record. At the beginning of 2022, around 30 self-funded and 15 third-party funded projects were active. All ongoing and completed projects are listed below and can be found in the research database of the University of Basel with their abstracts.
Further information on the individual research projects can also be found on the pages of the respective seminars as well as the profile pages of the respective researchers. The edoc repository of the University of Basel allows full-text search for many completed research projects.
