Study and Networking Day

This year's study and networking day is organized by DPL members Ella Imgrüth and Emmanuel Heman and features a workshop on close reading.

The Study and Networking Day is a fixed point in the annual program of the Doctoral Program in Literary Studies. It serves as a networking opportunity for members and provides specialist input that should be of interest to everyone. This year, former DPL members Sina Dell'Anno and Jodok Trösch have been invited to give a close reading workshop. The preparatory reading is Jonathan Culler's "The Closeness of Close Reading" (2010) and Cleanth Brooks' "Keats's Sylvan Historian – History Without Footnotes" (1947).

Thank you, Emmanuel and Ella, for organizing this!
