Retreat of the Doctoral Program
The retreat of the Doctoral Program in Literary Studies is a two-day event that serves as an intensive exchange on literary studies research and career planning issues, as well as networking among members of the program. Part of the retreat is the Literary Forum, a 90-minute event devoted to the presentation and discussion of recent methodological, theoretical, and/or thematic developments in literary studies.
The retreat is open only to members of the doctoral program and is free of charge. Registration via the Course Directory is required.
