DESCRIPTION:The collaborative\, interdisciplinary two-day symposium “Deco
 lonial Imaginaries in Literary and Urban Studies” will bring urban and l
 iterary scholars into conversation with each other in an open\, explorator
 y discussion.\\r\\nIn addition to presenting papers and attending workshop
 s in both fields\, participants will have the chance to attend two keynote
  lectures by Dominic Davies (a literary scholar working on the imaginatio
 n of infrastructure and infrastructural violence) and Catalina Ortiz (an u
 rbanist working on radical spatial imagination at the intersection of info
 rmality\, urban heritage and urban learning)\, as well as a conversation w
 ith critically acclaimed author Ana Filomena Amaral about her 2019 novel C
